Safety & Alerts

A safety button that doesn't need a phone

In an emergency, staff need a fast, unambiguous way to reach everyone — and to know who has responded. PowerPass pushes emergency commands to every badge on campus at once, and every badge has a physical button that works whether or not anyone has a phone on them.

One command, every badge, at once

Ceiling and classroom nodes keep every badge connected to the PowerPass cloud, so an emergency command reaches the whole campus simultaneously — regardless of whether phones are on, silenced, or left behind.

Hardware panic button

A button that works when a phone can't

For staff, the rectangular function button is a panic trigger — always available, always on the badge they're already wearing. It doesn't depend on a charged phone, an unlocked screen, or an app being open.

  • • Works even if a phone is off, silenced, or left in a bag
  • • Operable one-handed, without removing the badge from its lanyard
  • • Feedback via RGB LED and buzzer confirms the press went through
